Due to the overwhelming number of abstracts received and the high calibre of poster presentations which will be on display at the conference, the accepted posters will be displayed either on Thursday, 14 May or Friday, 15 May 2009.

A panel of cardiovascular experts will be judging all poster presentations throughout the conference, and six finalists will be chosen (3 early career finalists and 3 senior finalists) and their posters displayed on Saturday, 16 May 2009. They will then be given the opportunity to present their paper in a dedicated oral plenary session to be held on Saturday, 16 May in the Great Hall.  From this, two winners will be chosen to receive exclusive awards which will be presented during the Closing Ceremony. We look forward to sharing this unique part of the conference with you.
